Lee E. Martin, AIA, LEED AP, Vice President and Senior Manager of Florida Operations

With a diverse background in both the public and private sectors, Lee Martin has always believed that architectural practice involves social responsibility and that our design objectives must go well beyond the functional and aesthetic. As the first USGBC LEED Accredited Professional in Miami-Dade County, he traces his concerns for the environment back to the Arab Oil Embargo of the late 1970s where, as State Architect of Ohio, he assisted in the implementation of energy conservation standards for state-funded capital projects.

Lee began his architectural practice in Ohio, working on a variety of commercial and institutional projects, including banks, airplane hangars, educational and correctional facilities, as well as high-rise office buildings. Since relocating to Florida in 1992, he has overseen design and construction of several military buildings in Key West, a community center facility in the Town of Jupiter, and a large manufacturing plant in Naples, among other projects. Lee has testified in court in Ohio and Florida as either a fact or expert witness regarding construction and building code issues.

Lee Martin is an NCARB certificate holder and has been registered in a number of states over the course of his career, maintaining registration in Florida and Ohio at the present time.
