Mark Smith, AIA, Vice President, Architectural Services
As the Vice President of Architecture at Gobbell Hays Partners, Inc. (GHP), Mark Smith has a deep interest in combining the expertise of the company’s architectural and environmental studios to create sustainable building designs that are environmentally responsible and healthy places to live and work. He is a registered architect in nine states with over 27 years experience in the construction industry.
Mr. Smith began his career in Chicago (IL) working on high-rise office and residential projects with Fujikawa Johnson and Associates, and has practiced in New York and Hawaii. Certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, Smith is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is co-chair of the Public Policy Committee and founding board member for the Middle Tennessee USGBC local chapter. He is also a member of NFPA and ASHE.
