The objective of the Asbestos Project Designer course is to prepare an individual for a position as Project Designer. The course provides the student with material on the following topics:

The material is presented through various medias including: lectures, slide presentations, videos, and printed material. Demonstrations of materials and equipment used in the industry are incorporated into the training. A field trip, which is included in the course, will provide an opportunity to visit an asbestos abatement project or suitable building site. The field trip will allow on-site discussions of abatement design and a building walk through inspection.
Upon completion of the course, a student will understand the responsibilities of an Asbestos Project Designer and the project design process.
