Management Planner Refresher

The objective of the Asbestos Management Planner course is to prepare an individual to review an asbestos inspection and prepare a Management Plan.  The course provides the student with material on the following topics: 

• Evaluation/Interpretation of Survey Results
• Hazard Assessment
• Legal Implications
• Evaluation and Selection of Control Options
• Role of Other Professionals
• Developing an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Plan
• Regulatory Prerequisites
• Record Keeping
• Assembling and Submitting the Management Plan
• Financing Abatement Actions

The material is presented through various medias including lectures, slide presentations, videos, and printed material. Demonstrations of materials and equipment used in the discipline are incorporated into the training.

Upon completion of the course, the student will have the general knowledge to review an asbestos inspection and prepare a Management Plan.
