Project: Gobbell Hays Partners was enlisted to design several loft styles to appeal to the diversity of the dynamic loft market in downtown Nashville. Located at Third Avenue and Church Street, these loft condos represent a growing trend to rehab old, historic structures into modern, liveable spaces while maintaining the character that makes them appealing and desirable.
Details Include:
• Unique loft development situated at the corner of Church Street and Third Avenue in the center of downtown
• GHP created 17 loft condos within three 1850s-era historic buildings
• New design also includes a retail component to serve as the home to Village Real Estate
• The GHP team worked closely with the developer and real estate agency to respect the structure’s historic architecture while implementing modern living conveniences
• Project includes three “townhouse-style” three-story loft units complete with their own private elevator and private roof deck
• Several units feature individual roof decks and mezzanine bedrooms
• 2007 Brick in Home Building Awards - Gold Winner Multi-Family Category
• Metro Nashville Historical Commission - Commendation Award
