Client: Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools
Location: Nashville, TN
Project: GHP is working as Architect-of-Record and LEED Facilitator with Metro Public Schools providing additional floor area as needed to accommodate the MNPS standard program for Media Center, Music and Administration areas as well as a secure vestibule.
Details Include:
• Existing portions of the building will be renovated, including window replacement, finish upgrades, new lighting and new mechanical systems. Prefab cold storage units will be an addition to the existing kitchen. The cafeteria dining room will be upgraded and a new designated serving area will be provided.
• Accommodation of additional “wish list” items such as a new loading dock and receiving areas, parking lot improvements, outdoor equipment storage, exterior seating areas and landscaping will be evaluated contingent upon budget constraints.
• LEED Silver rating will be achieved.
