Lane Agri-Park Master Plan/Phase II

Client: Rutherford County Conservation Board

Location: Murfreesboro, TN

Project: In an ongoing effort to advance the design of its 45-acre multifunction agricultural park Master Plan for the Rutherford County (TN) Conservation Board in Murfreesboro, TN, Gobbell Hays Partners’ accomplished architectural studio has completed design and construction of Phase II.

Details Include:
• The newly constructed Community Center and Livestock Barn at the Lane Agri-Park located at 315 John R. Rice Blvd. in Murfreesboro was opened to the public on June 7, 2009.
• The Community Center is a 16,500 sq. ft. multi-purpose facility. It will be used for various programs designed to meet the educational, cultural, social, and recreational needs of county residents. UT Extension of Rutherford County will utilize the facility for various educational programs as well as a Farmer's Market operation.
• The Livestock Barn is a 22,500 sq. ft. facility. The primary use of this facility will be for livestock activities such as judging team training, shows and project group meetings for 4-H events.
• Other amenities include a Practice Horse Ring and an Outdoor Pavilion. 
• This project was awarded the 2009 Construction Award of Excellence from the ABC - Middle Tennessee Chapter.
