Project: The environmental expertise of Gobbell Hays Partners was chosen by Marriott Vacation Club International to provide project management and design for the safe removal of moisture-contaminated building materials and finishes from the interior of a 13-story resort hotel.
Details Include:
• Assessment of moisture contamination caused by flooding of ventilation shafts and other building materials due to heavy storms during construction and an incomplete building envelope
• Field investigations and visual moisture assessments
• Review of corrective action plans developed by the General Contractor
• Inspection of the remediation and final cleaning tasks associated with moisture compromised elements in building substrates
• Recommendations for Corrective Action Plan implemented by the General Contractor
• Created Operations and Maintenance Plan to proactively and reactively fight moisture growth at the facility
