Project: Now known as “The Gardens of Hillsboro Village,” this planned unit development in the historic Hillsboro Village district was hailed by The Tennessean in 1997 as “the best addition to Nashville’s architectural landscape.”
Details Include:
• New 100-unit apartment complex and renovation of two apartment buildings: the Vanderbilt and the Washington (listed on the National Register of Historic Places)
• Enhancement of intrinsic beauty of the buildings while using modern features to bring light and life to both exterior and interior
• Extensive interior modifications included addition to HVAC systems, new finishes, replacement baths/kitchens, new windows and new layout design
• New design blends with the historic character of the existing structures
• Awarded Commendation from the Metro Nashville Historical Commission
