Project: Since 1999, Nashville’s Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency has enlisted the environmental and architectural expertise of Gobbell Hays Partners for comprehensive multi-phase environmental and security assessments for the Old General Hospital campus site and other Metro Government facilities.
Details Include:
• Development of plan to clean up and stabilize environmental issues within the buildings and to secure all the buildings and the site (e.g., welding/locking of doors, fencing all first floor window locations and installing new secure perimeter fencing)
• Thorough environmental site assessments and a historical significance study of all buildings associated with the site
• Preliminary due diligence in preparation for planned site development
• Site assessment of the Old General Hospital campus to include comprehensive asbestos and lead-based paint survey of site structures
• Selective subsurface investigation on the site to determine if subsurface conditions could potentially impact future development
