Location: Nashville, TN
Project: The highly skilled architectural studio at Gobbell Hays Partners successfully completed the adaptive reuse of an 80-year-old warehouse into 32 luxury apartments. This fast track project was accomplished in just eight months.
Details Include:
• Project totaled 45,000 square feet
• Unique design met challenges of long narrow space
• GHP met all lighting, sound, privacy and safety challenges
• Central atrium, treated as outdoor space, was designed to bring light into apartments
• Suspended gypsum ceiling was designed for sound blockage
• Partial height walls used in apartments addressed concerns of inadequate lighting
• Recipient of numerous accolades to include:
• Tennessee Society of Architects: Merit Award for Design
• Metro Nashville Historical Commission: Commendation
