The Union Station Hotel

Location: Nashville, TN
Project: The architectural studio at Gobbell Hays Partners has been selected, along with Forrest Perkins (interior designers) and RC Mathews (general contractor) to renovate this 7-story, masonry load-bearing luxury hotel in downtown Nashville.
Details Include:
• Historical refurbishing of classic features while implementing fresh new interior décor, finishes, furnishings, lighting and spatial modifications
• Recreation of main lobby’s grand entrance by restoring the vaulted stain glass ceiling and by removing the existing dining platform to create spaciousness and ambiance
• Newly constructed public amenities for hotel patrons will include: New Fitness Center, Business Center and Sundries Shop, along with revitalized Meeting Rooms
• New upscale upgrades for 125 guest rooms and suites to include renovated bathrooms with new finishes, plumbing fixtures and lighting
• Exterior restorations to include: stone repair work, replacement of windows in the Clock Tower and replacement of the non-historic windows on the two lower levels
• Architectural lighting, new flagpoles and landscaping will be added to enhance the historic features of the building
• AIA Middle Tennessee - Citation Award
• Metro Nashville Historical Commission - Commendation Award
