Project: Gobbell Hays Partners’ talented architectural team participated as an active designer and Architect of Record for several phases of this progressive loft development. The Werthan Mills Lofts consist of new fresh dwellings that still respect the history of this unique 1860’s building.
Details Include:
• Gobbell Hays Partners has participated actively as designer on phases III, IV and V
• GHP was the Architect of Record for Phase III, which opened in May of 2006
• Phase III included 36 units, ranging from studio to 3-bedroom penthouses and an indoor garage for owner parking
• Phase IV and V will include renovating the prominent 8th Avenue building into approximately 175 loft units
• A new free-standing parking garage has been designed to maintain the façade of an existing building, but provides a new modern parking garage with 180 parking spots
• Green roofs and an outdoor recreation area are also unique components of this Phase
• Metro Nashville Historical Commission - Commendation Award
